It was one heck of an Eastern Conference Game 7 showdown between the Miami Heat and Boston Celtics, but the visiting Boston side was able to get the job done. Now, it’ll be Golden State vs. the C’s in the showdown for all the glory. Well, Vegas getting major Warriors NBA Finals bets should come as no surprise whatsoever, as Golden State is the favorite to come away with a win.
However, Boston is riding high and they’ve got plenty of confidence right now. What helps Golden State here is that they’ve been able to make it to the Finals several times with the likes of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green working together. Now that these three are back on the hardwood together, the expectation is they’ll be able to get the job done.
This is surely a great story for Thompson, as he missed one year due to a torn ACL, suffered in the NBA Finals against the Raptors, and then also missed another year due to a torn Achilles. He grinded around the clock to get himself back to full health and now he’s in the position to potentially win his fourth NBA Finals crown with Golden State.
With that said, Boston is going to do whatever is needed to try and silence him and the rest of the team. Yes, Golden State may have the better NBA Finals odds and countless bets are coming in on them to win it all, but that doesn’t mean things will be easy. Curry knows there’s quite a bit of pressure on him too, but when has he not delivered for this team? It seems like he gets better and better whenever people doubt him.
