The third notable subtraction is Felix Auger-Aliassime, who has a left knee injury that will sideline him at Monte-Carlo. Auger-Aliassime is a sneaky good player on clay, and had a solid turnout at the Sunshine Double too — a quarters and third-round appearance.
If these three are out, then who the heck is showing up? Welp, there are plenty of top stars in the entry list including Novak Djokovic, Daniil Medvedev, Casper Rudd, Stefanos Tsitsipas, and Taylor Fritz. As we write this, Monte-Carlo tennis betting odds have yet to be released by top bookmakers. However, we expect that to change once the entire draw becomes official during the weekend. So Rudd will benefit greatly without The King of Clay in the field. Rudd will likely be available at sneaky-good odds as well so that only sweets the deal.
