Unfortunately for NBA fans out there, the 2021-22 season is almost coming to a close, as we’re in the middle of the last series of the year. Having said that, there’s plenty of drama and intrigue with the Golden State Warriors and Boston Celtics facing off. This of course means that Las Vegas is blowing up with NBA Finals bets and things shouldn’t be slowing down here at all.
Per a report, there’s been an incredible amount of bets being placed on NBA Finals odds through the best rated Las Vegas sportsbooks. This isn’t a surprise at all, especially when you have two teams with such strong markets like Golden State and Boston. This was the Finals matchup that people were hoping for, as you’ve got two of the best lineups out there.
For the Warriors, this team is of course led by Steph Curry. He’s one of the best shooters of all time and he can really hurt you whenever he’s on the floor. On top of that, people have loved seeing Klay Thompson back in action in the NBA Finals after he missed two seasons due to injury. Things will be sweet for Thompson if he’s able to keep things rocking as he has.
Meanwhile, for the Celtics, this team is loaded with young talent, including Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown and others. Don’t forget about veteran big man Al Horford, who has been sensational in the NBA Playoffs Vegas Odds. With the series tied at 1-1 heading into Game 3, there’s going to be loads of pressure on each side to step up and deliver. This should make for a fantastic series, and it could go all seven games.
It goes without saying, but more NBA Finals bets will surely be on the way, as this series is really entertaining. Boston was able to surprise plenty of folks in Game 1, as they traveled to Golden State and recorded an impressive win. This was also a monster victory for Las Vegas, as millions of dollars went on the Warriors to come out on top. That didn’t happen.
Because of this, Vegas was able to win big on its own with that shocking result from the Celtics. The Warriors were able to bounce back in Game 2, though, which meant that people were able to win some of their money back. Early on, reports state that the money is pretty much split on who will now end up winning the series. People still have strong belief in the Warriors.
However, more and more bets are coming on the Celtics to win the NBA Finals. Before the series even got started, the large majority of the money and bets that came in were on the Warriors to win it all. Because of how dominant GS has looked in the playoffs, people thought they wouldn’t have any issues at all taking down the Celtics in the Finals this time around.
People even thought that Golden State would be able to take care of business by either Game 4 or Game 5. Well, thanks to that Game 1 win by Boston, there will be no sweep this time around. Golden State very well could end up winning things by Gam 5, but that’s not looking likely here either. Instead, Boston will do everything possible to make this an interesting series. With all of this said, NBA excitement has never been higher in Sin City and that’s not going to stop anytime soon. The reason people and bettors are so excited is because it’s feeling more and more likely that an NBA expansion team will be making its way to town by 2024. This would obviously be a massive victory for the city as a whole, as they’ve wanted this for a while. The success of the NBA Summer League has been noteworthy, no doubt.
With reports continuing to swirl that an expansion team will be coming, plus the mayor coming out and saying he’s confident it will happen, it’s easy to see why people are so jacked up right now about this possibility. With this, the intrigue surrounding the NBA has probably doubled in Las Vegas, which has resulted in even more bets coming in on the Finals. You could see some head-turning bets come in for the future contests.

People are hyped about basketball right now and the thought of an expansion team is only going to keep driving things up.
