Hello again, racing fans! The MotoGP Betting Odds are back, so it is time to head to Austria. The Austria Grand Prix at Red Bull Ring (Spielberg) is the second leg of the European leg post-break. Once again, things went a little haywire but in the end, backing Francesco Bagnaia paid off as he took the checkered flag.
Below, we look at some MotoGP plays and picks for the Moto GP Austria Bets. This reveals some pretty goofy scenarios. Some riders have fallen flat during the European leg, while others keep surging. New names pop up every so often and catch some eyes. Even an old one could be at the track this weekend. Furthermore, our NASCAR betting sites are highly popular now, with Chase Elliot still leading the charge this season. Anyway, the table below is present as always.
MotoGP 2022 - Austria GP | |

Jack Miller | +500 |
Aleix Espargaro | +700 |

Maverick Vinales | +1600 |
Enea Bastianini | +1600 |

It is insane to believe, but Francesco Bagnaia is almost all or nothing regarding performance on the MotoGP tour. Over the last seven races, Bagnaia has three DNF’s which would make one thing he is having a disastrous time. However, the Italian Ducati rider has four wins in that time. Bagnaia keeps things far from dull on and sometimes off the track. He is a slight favorite in the Moto GP Austria Bets.
The Italian was a bit out of sorts earlier in the season despite two top-five finishes. The 2022 season had not quite gotten off to an abysmal start. Before the circuit returned to Spain, Bagnaia was in awful shape, accumulating a mere 31 points through five races, including an awful season-opening DNF and a 15th in the following race for just one point.
The Ducati biker has been qualifying well for most of the season. Testing has gone pretty well too. With consecutive wins in the Netherlands and Britain, Bagnaia now stands just 49 points behind Fabio Quartararo’s standings for the 2022 World Title. What looked like a French cakewalk looks anything but currently. There is a clear wave of momentum on the Italian’s side. However, with the risks he takes, it is not all that firm of a grip, as they say.
The essential concept at VegasBetting is to look at this second half a bit differently. Here is why. Some still believe that the Italians can very much win this title. Some will argue otherwise, but the pundits have pegged Bagnaia as a tentative favorite. Either way, the Italian has a bit of value at +225 because of the risk-reward. With Red Bull Ring a fast track, that makes him one to watch in MotoGP Austria Bets.
Fabio Quartararo is indeed a question mark for the 2022 MotoGP Austria Bets. The French rider was looking great heading into the Netherlands race when all sorts of disaster struck. Then, there were lap penalties and all the sort. At the British race in Silverstone, things did not go much better. It was quite the struggle for Quartararo to get his Yamaha back into the top ten. In the end, an eighth-place result was all he could muster.
This MotoGP rider has a race on his hands for this season. There is a chance that the Frenchman’s hopes of repeating his World Title are in some significant jeopardy. Quartararo holds a mere 22-point lead on Aleix Espargaro but has still gained 28 points in the standings over the last eight races. So, is Espargaro a concern or could it be the Italians led by the aforementioned Francesco Bagnaia?
These past couple of races have revealed something important. When Bagnaia stays upright, Quartararo seems to hear his motor. It is the equivalent of hearing footsteps. There is something to this, and with some lack of success at Red Bull Ring (the CryptoDATA Motorrad Grand Prix von Osterreich), the worries about Quartararo’s series lead to gain more and more merit.
With that said, it is great that Quartararo is showing no fear in the lead to this week’s event. This is because, unlike some other young riders, Quartararo has shown he can bounce back and deliver anytime. Then again, there is uncertainty with the French rider. Can he keep his wits and nerves in check himself? Will other teams use tactics as they smell blood? Either way, Quartararo is a tempting choice for Sunday at +300.
Again, there are perennially different names to take a look at for MotoGP Austria Bets. One has to consider Maverick Vinales. Few can match the Spaniard’s flair on the track, and some say off the course too. Vinales is gaining some buzz and his second at Silverstone turned some heads.
The biker has seen his numbers lengthen for the race this weekend at Red Bull Ring. Again, Vinales can be a bit of a loose cannon, but the same can be said for many of these riders (not named Aleix Espargaro). That +1600 is somewhat difficult to ignore.
Then there is Jack Miller. Miller comes off a third-place result in Britain and has tested well at Spielberg. A good qualifying effort might pave the way to another podium for the Australian. He has less value for this race at +500. Keep that in mind.
Take Francesco Bagnaia as our best bet at the Austria GP this week.
