For Chelsea, they’ll need to try and limit the Liverpool offensive attack. It will of course be led by the likes of Mo Salah, Sadio Mane, Diogo Jota, and others. Guys like Cesar Azpilicueta, Antonio Rudiger, and Thiago Silva will need to step their games up in a big way to try and prevent the Liverpool speedsters from finding the back of the net. That won’t be easy.

While the odds haven’t been released for the goal scorers just yet, look for Mo Salah to find the back of the net in this one. Salah is without question one of the best strikers in the world, and he knows what it takes to make plays at the highest level. This is bad news for Chelsea and its defense, as Salah will be hungry to win another title with his team.
Salah doesn’t need any extra motivation, but he knows just how important this FA Cup win would be for the team. Not only that, but it would give Salah even more leverage in his contract talks with Liverpool. The two sides are yet to agree on an extension, and several teams are hoping to land him. If Salah can win an FA Cup, EPL title and the Champions League, how could LFC not pay him?
“That’s more of a question for the boys, to be honest,” LFC manager Jurgen Klopp said in a recent interview when discussing both Salah and Mane. “But it’s all fine, I really think they are both great. They have more things to think about than the management, but it’s an important thing.”
As things stand, the futures for Salah and Mane are totally up in the air. However, there’s no question that losing Salah would be a major blow for this team. Salah knows just how important he is for the squad and he could shut up plenty of his haters if he’s able to score a big goal for Liverpool against Chelsea. We think that will happen, as we’re picking him to score.
It goes without saying, but Liverpool vs. Chelsea should be a high-scoring match when they face off. Both of these offenses are loaded from top to bottom. With Liverpool, we’ve mentioned the likes of Salah, Mane, and Jota, but don’t forget about the other playmakers for this team either. Trent Alexander-Arnold very well could score from a free-kick. How about a Virgil Van Dijk header?
Everything is on the table here. As for Chelsea, they have plenty of superstars too. Romelu Lukaku hasn’t quite lived up to the hype with the Blues, but he scored twice over the weekend against Wolves. Timo Werner is also fantastic.
