Tuesday sees another actioned packed night of NHL action and here at VegasBetting, we’ve trawled through all the stats to find you some betting picks on the night’s best match-ups.
Teams from the top end of all leagues are in action, and below we look at matches from all four divisions.
The first match I’m going to look at tonight takes place in Canada, and it’s between the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Nashville Predators.
Predators @ Maple Leafs
The Maple Leafs go into this fixture with a 10-5-1 record, and on a winning streak of three.
The Predators are third in the Central Division with a 9-5-1 record, and are also on a winning streak of three!
Match – Toronto Maple Leafs v Nashville Predators
Venue – Scotiabank Arena, Toronto, Canada
Date – Tuesday, November 16th, 2021
Time – 7pm ET
Both sides are good nick, but neither are setting their respective divisions alight with their performances.
Tonight’s fixture looks set to be close, but with home advantage, the Vegas bookmakers are favoring the Maple Leafs.
The Maple Leafs are -190 to win with BetOnline on the Moneyline, and +120 to win on the Puck Line (-1.5).
I can see the Maple Leafs being two scores better, so I’m happy to take them to win on the Puck Line.

The Florida Panthers host struggling New York Islanders in a match that gives the Panthers the ideal chance to get back to winning ways!
Match – Florida Panthers v New York Islanders
Venue – BB&T Center, Sunrise, Florida, USA
Date – Tuesday, November 16th, 2021
Time – 7pm ET
The Panthers are the early pacesetters in the Atlantic Division.
Despite their lead at the top of the table, they are still what I would describe as lukewarm favorites with the top online betting sitesto win the division.
Still, under the leadership of interim coach, Andrew Brunette, the Panthers have a 10-2-3 record but have lost their last four (two in OT).
This explains why the sportsbooks see the Maple Leafs and Lightning as genuine threats in the betting to win the Atlantic Division.
They take on a New York Islanders (5-5-2) side currently rock bottom of the Metropolitan Division and on a three-match losing streak. Last night they lost again, this time 4-1 away to Tampa Bay Lightning.
So far this season the Islanders have had a torrid time, and I expect that to continue tonight.
The Panthers are -155 on the Moneyline, and I’m happy to go with them to win at those odds.

The free-scoring Golden Knights host Carolina Panthers in what is going to be a major test for Peter DeBoer’s resurgent team.
Match – Vegas Golden Knights v Carolina Hurricanes
Venue – T-Mobile Arena, Paradise, Nevada, USA
Date – Tuesday, November 16th, 2021
Time – 10pm ET
The Hurricanes sit top of the Metropolitan Division with an 11-2-0 record.
In their most recent outing, they beat the St. Louis Blues 3-2 at the PNC Arena on Saturday night.
This was an immediate return to winning ways, having lost 2-1 to the Flyers on the previous night.
A trip to Vegas won’t be the easiest of assignments for the Hurricanes.
The Golden Knights (9-6-0) are on a winning streak of three, and they had to come back from 2-0 down in their last match to defeat the Vancouver Canucks 7-4 on Saturday.
In their last 3 matches, there have been 22 goals scored, and across this season, the Golden Knights have seen plenty of action at both ends of the pitch.
Defenses will be tighter in this match, as there is a step up in class in opposition to the Knights, but I still think it’s value to go with Over 5.5 goals in this match-up.
One of the biggest clashes of the night is in California, where both the Ducks and the Capitals will be looking for the win to keep up the pressure on the leaders at the top of their respective divisions.
Match – Anaheim Ducks v Washington Capitals
Venue – Honda Center, Anaheim, California, USA
Date – Tuesday, November 16th, 2021
Time – 10pm ET
The Anaheim Ducks are second in the Pacific Division, just one point behind leaders Edmonton Oilers, and one ahead of third-place Calgary Flames.
For good measure, they also have the Vegas Golden Knights hunting them down as well. The Ducks have a 9-4-3 record, with a 5-1 win over the Vancouver Canucks, their most recent result.
They will be looking to extend their seven-match winning streak when they host the Washington Capitals tonight.
The Capitals are not doing too badly themselves either. They are on a four-match winning streak and sit second in the Metropolitan Division with a 9-2-4 record.
In their last match, the Capitals made light work of Pittsburg, smashing the Penguins 6-1 on Sunday night.
The Ducks aren’t expected to be serious contenders in the long run though.
The latest Las Vegas NHL betting odds have them at +1600 fourth favorites to win the Pacific, and +10000 to win the Stanley Cup.
Tonight’s visitors, the Washington Capitals are +350 to win the Metropolitan Division, and +2000 to lift the Stanley Cup.
I fancy the Capitals to end the Ducks winning run, and I’m taking them to win at -145 on the Moneyline.
