It is absolutely crazy to think that the NFL season is almost here, as we’re less than two months away from Week 1 arriving. There are some lofty expectations for countless organizations out there, with several expecting to win double-digit contests. In this piece, we have our picks for NFL picks for NFC teams to win at least 10 games, with the Packers on the list. Decide if Aaron Rodgers will deliver at top NFL online sportsbooks?
Green Bay should have no issues winning 10 games
Let’s be real here, Green Bay should have no issues winning 10 games in 2022. Why? Rodgers is still one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. Not only that, Rodgers is without question one of the best quarterbacks of his generation. When he’s fully healthy, there’s simply no stopping him. He’s got a rocket for an arm and he makes life difficult for so many defenses.
Now one thing that will surely hold him back a little bit this year is the fact that he no longer has his No. 1 wide receiver with him. We’re of course talking about the one and only Davante Adams, who was traded to the Las Vegas Raiders in a blockbuster move. This is obviously going to be a big blow for the Packers as a whole, as Adams is arguably the best wideout in the game.
With that said, the Packers were able to reload in the offseason and the addition of Christian Watson in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft. Watson will be expected to deliver from Game 1 for this team. He’ll have a ton of pressure on him, but Packers fans are hopeful that the rookie will be able to play beyond his years for the organization this fall and winter.
Rodgers would of course love to see that. According to the best rated sportsbooks, the Packers have -230 NFL odds to win at least 10 games this year. From our seat, we think there’s no way this team doesn’t win at least 10 games. They’re simply that good on both sides of the ball and Rodgers will be motivated to silence his countless amount of haters out there.
The Dallas Cowboys could have a tough season in 2022
Elsewhere, we think the Dallas Cowboys could have a tough season in 2022 and that’s not good news for their die-hard fans. The fact of the matter here is that Dallas didn’t do enough in the offseason to instill a bunch of faith in all of their fans. Losing Amari Cooper via a trade to the Cleveland Browns is going to sting. Dallas is ready for CeeDee Lamb to step in as the No. 1 wideout, but is he ready for that?
Lamb has all of the talent in the world, but he’s had issues with drops and he’s still pretty darn young. He’s about to enter his third year in the league. Clearly the Dallas front office and head coach Mike McCarthy strongly believe that he’ll be able to rise to become one of the best wideouts in the NFC. Again, the potential is surely there for Lamb to get that done.
However, his youth could prevent him from taking off the way some people think he will. On top of that, there was really no splash signing for the Cowboys. A report recently came out that Dallas was close to signing star pass-rusher Von Miller, but he ended up signing with the Buffalo Bills instead. This only helped Buffalo’s Super Bowl odds increase.
Apparently, Dallas put a low-ball offer on the table and Miller, who grew up in Texas, wasn’t going to take that much of a pay cut. The Cowboys blew it with the Miller signing, plain and simple. Now, the Eagles look like they’re ready to win the division. This could be a year to forget for Dallas, who have -230 NFL odds to win 10 games. While the odds are in their favor, our pick is for them to finish with nine wins or less.
Lastly, will the Rams get to 10 wins? This is a great question, as the loss of Miller could hurt them quite a bit. However, the team went out and signed Bobby Wagner, which was a massive win for the front office, especially with Wagner having a Hall-of-Fame worthy career during his playing days in the NFC West already with the Seattle Seahawks.
The odds for the Rams, who won the Super Bowl last season, to win 10 games are at -220. With Matthew Stafford having signed his long-term deal, the wheels are in motion for Los Angeles to really make a ton of noise once again next season.
It wouldn’t be a surprise if they were to repeat as the champions. On top of that, people are still waiting to see if wideout Odell Beckham Jr. will re-sign with the team or not. If he does, that’d be another big signing. Things are looking bright for the Rams, and our pick is for them to reach the 10-win mark, no doubt.
