In a special treat for National Football League fans, there are two games on the schedule for you to enjoy on Christmas. The first is the showdown between Green Bay and Cleveland, while Arizona and Indianapolis will follow that up. In this piece, we have NFL Christmas Day picks with Packers favored over Browns. Who will end up coming away with a win?

It goes without saying, but Aaron Rodgers should have a huge game against Cleveland when they face off on Saturday. Rodgers is in the middle of another fantastic year and he really only is getting better with each week. There’s been some concern around his fractured toe, but luckily he’s been able to manage the pain and play through things. This is of course massive for the Packers.
With Rodgers looking like another MVP-caliber season is in front of him, things have only been made better with the defense really stepping up as well. The secondary has really been a positive, and Rasul Douglas at cornerback might prove to be one of the best signings this team has made in a long time. He’s been tremendous ever since he joined the team.

Meanwhile, for Cleveland, the inconsistent play has haunted the Browns once again. They’re fighting for their postseason lives. Baker Mayfield looks sharp one week, but then the former No. 1 pick struggles at times as well. In order for Cleveland to have a shot in this one, he’ll need to play his best, while also taking care of the football. The Browns can’t turn the ball over.
According to the best rated online sportsbooks, the Packers are major favorites with their -275 NFL Vegas odds. As for the Browns, their odds have been set at +220. From our chair, we think it’d be a major shock if the Browns were to upset Green Bay in this one, especially with the game being played at Lambeau Field. We’re going with the Packers as our pick. Looking at things as a whole, the over should certainly hit in the Packers vs. Browns matchup on Saturday. To start, we’ve simply got to bring up the play of Rodgers this year. Time and time again, he reminds us why he’s a lock to be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. People are still talking about his masterclass in Week 14 against the Chicago Bears.
In that win, Rodgers tossed for four touchdowns, with two of those scores going to Davante Adams. Whenever those two are on the same page, it’s a total nightmare for opposing defenses to try and limit them. The same should be the case for the Browns when they take on Green Bay. Rodgers, Adams, Aaron Jones and others will be all set to record a strong game.
On the other side of the field too, don’t forget about Mayfield, Nick Chubb and Jarvis Landry. This offense can be potent at times as well. It wouldn’t be a major surprise whatsoever to see Cleveland put up plenty of points in a losing effort. While we do think the Packers are going to win this one, we think that Cleveland will be ready to showcase plenty of fight as well.
According to the oddsmakers, the over/under has been set at 45 points. Really, only 45 points? With Rodgers running things for Green Bay and Mayfield throwing the ball around for Cleveland, we could see this one turn out to be a track meet. Guys are going to showcase their skills and record plenty of points. With this, we’re no doubt going with the over hitting as our pick.
A question to ask as well, is can the Colts record an upset over the Cardinals on Christmas? Arizona was looking like one of the best teams in the NFL for a while, but things sure have changed there. After suffering a loss to the Los Angeles Rams, Arizona has followed that up with a truly rough loss to the Detroit Lions in Week 15. Who in the heck saw that coming?
The Cardinals were major favorites for this one, as the Lions entered this contest at 1-11-1. Meanwhile for the Cardinals, they were 10-3. Still, Detroit dominated this one and went on to record a lopsided win. It was a major disappointment for head coach Kliff Kingsbury. Meanwhile, for the Colts, they took down the Patriots in Week 15, with both sides of the ball playing well.
Jonathan Taylor has emerged as one of the best running backs in the game. While on defense, Darius Leonard has really solidified himself as a superstar. Arizona is the favorite here with its -176 odds and the Colts are +146. While Arizona has been struggling of late, we don’t think the Colts will have enough to capture the victory. We’re going with the Cardinals as our pick.
