It’s unreal to think that we’ve only got four more weeks left in the regular season. We’re inching even closer to the playoffs and folks across the world can’t wait for some exciting showdowns to take center stage this week for the National Football League. In this piece, we have NFL Week 15 picks with Packers favored over Ravens among the games we’re taking a look at.
Green Bay should have no troubles taking down the Ravens in this one
• What: NFL Week 15 showdown • When: Sunday, Dec. 19 • Who: Green Bay Packers at Baltimore Ravens • Where: M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore
While the Packers and Baltimore should provide plenty of entertainment, Green Bay should have no troubles taking down the Ravens in this one. Green Bay continues to look like one of the best teams in the entire NFL, with Aaron Rodgers only getting better and better. He was sensational last weekend and Rodgers will likely keep things rocking against Baltimore.
In the Sunday Night Football win against the Chicago Bears, Rodgers was throwing the ball all over the field. He finished with four touchdown passes. Two of those touchdowns went to superstar wideout Davante Adams, who added 10 receptions and 121 yards to his name. Those two are the gift that simply keeps on giving, as they’re easily one of the best combos in the game.
Meanwhile, for Baltimore, the team suffered a heartbreaking loss to the Cleveland Browns on Sunday. What really makes things interesting here is the status of Lamar Jackson. The speedy QB suffered an ankle sprain and had to leave the game early. Tyler Huntley then took over. Jackson is hoping to play on Sunday vs. Green Bay, but he won’t be at 100 percent if he is able to suit up.
According to the best-rated online betting sites, Green Bay enters this one holding -215 NFL Vegas odds. For Baltimore, they’re indeed the underdogs, as they’ve been given +180 odds. Despite Baltimore being the home team, we don’t think this will cause any issues for Green Bay and Rodgers. They’re our pick. Do you agree? Check out our NFL betting sites to get a wager in.
Tampa Bay will dominate New Orleans and cover the spread
Over in the NFC South, Tampa Bay will dominate New Orleans and cover the spread without any kind of problem. Once again, thanks in large part to Tom Brady, the Bucs are looking like a true contender to win the Super Bowl. They stunned so many folks last year in doing so, but now they’re ready to try and go back-to-back in taking home the Lombardi Trophy.
In the Week 14 showdown with the Buffalo Bills, Tampa Bay was given everything they could handle against the Buffalo Bills. We needed overtime for this one, but in that extra session, Brady did what he does best: Come up in the clutch for his team and deliver. Brady indeed delivered, firing off a walk-off touchdown to break Buffalo hearts across the country.
As for the Saints, they were able to deliver with a dominant win over the New York Jets in New Jersey, but let’s be real here, the Jets are one of the worst teams in the NFL. Yes, Taysom Hill had a big day, but things are going to be much more complicated for him going up against a scary Tampa Bay front-seven. They’ll be ready to apply pressure on him early and often.
Per the oddsmakers, Tampa Bay has -500 odds to win it. The spread has been set at 10.5 points too, with the Bucs holding -110 odds to cover that. New Orleans is at -110 itself to cover the spread. New Orleans is simply too good and they’ll look to make a big-time statement going up against the Saints. We’re going with the Bucs to cover the spread as our pick here.
The Rams and Seahawks are all set for a classic battle
Finally, in the NFC West, the Rams and Seahawks are all set for a classic battle. Whenever these two teams face off, there’s plenty of drama and intrigue. Now, they’ll be ready to meet in LA and the two are coming off big wins. For the Rams, they were able to stun the Arizona Cardinals in Phoenix during Monday Night Football, while Seattle tripped to Houston and dominated the Texans.
For Seattle, they really need to try and win out to keep their postseason hopes alive. The fact that they’ve won back-to-back games has really helped them out. With that said, things really are going to be tricky for them going up against the Rams on the road. Matthew Stafford looked fantastic against the Cardinals. The same can be said for Cooper Kupp and Odell Beckham Jr.
The Rams currently hold -220 odds to win this one, and the Seahawks are at +168. LA is hoping to keep pace for the No. 1 seed in the NFC too for the postseason. Will Seattle be able to record an upset in this one? We don’t think that’s going to be the case once Sunday rolls around. Indeed, we’re going with the Los Angeles Rams as our pick to win this contest.
