Through the first four weeks of the season, several teams stand out as serious contenders to make noise in the playoffs. While in the AFC, the Buffalo Bills remain the top dog, things feel like they are wide open in the NFC. While it may not be easy, we’re here to offer up our NFL NFC champion pick for the 2022 season. Which NFC side will make its way to the Super Bowl?
In a stunning turn of events, Philadelphia is the favorite to win the NFC this year. Through four games, the Eagles are the only team that is still undefeated. No one saw this coming, but Nick Sirianni’s men are playing fantastic football on both sides of the ball. With the Eagles, they weren’t even expected to win the NFC East, as people had the Cowboys as their pick. Things have changed there.
You’ve got to give plenty of credit to Jalen Hurts for this. The young quarterback continues to impress, and he has the Philly offense playing on another level. On top of that, don’t forget that the front office and Howie Roseman went out and traded for star wideout A.J. Brown during the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft. Brown hasn’t been disappointed with his play.

People haven’t loved the inconsistency from the run game, but Miles Sanders is coming off the best game of his career. In the showdown in Week 4 vs. the Jacksonville Jaguars, Sanders crushed the 100-yard mark and ran for two touchdowns. If he can continue to play this way, the Eagle’s offense will be tough to stop once the playoffs roll around.

What helps out Rodgers right now is that the defense is looking sensational. Another name for you: Rashan Gary. The pride of Paramus, N.J., Gary has been a total for this campaign.
With Gary leading the way, the pass-rush for the Packers has been out of this world. Things are going to keep rocking here for sure. With Rodgers, there’s no denying Davante Adams’s loss to the Las Vegas Raiders has hurt him. Yes, we’re not going to argue that fact. However, other wideouts are stepping up and starting to find their rhythm.
This includes rookie wideout Christian Watson. Before Week 4, Watson was best known for his huge drop against the Minnesota Vikings in the season-opener. Fans were bashing him for that terrible play, and rightfully so. Well, Watson could silence plenty of haters this past weekend in the win over the Patriots, rushing for a big TD against New England.
Watson is only going to get better. With Green Bay, this team has been disappointed in the playoffs in recent years, but we think this is the campaign where they can put things together. While we think Green Bay will win the NFC over Philly, can Tampa Bay pull something off for Tom Brady? This will be a topic of conversation for the rest of the season, as this is expected to be Brady’s final campaign in the league. Brady has an unreal seven Super Bowl rings to his name, which is unheard of. He wants eight to his name before he hangs up his cleats.
The fact here is that the Bucs aren’t playing good football. This defense has taken a step back this season, evidenced in the Week 4 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs at home. The Bucs also lost, 14-12, to Rodgers and the Packers in Week 3.
This team isn’t looking strong, which is a bummer for a 45-year-old Brady. He hoped to end his career the right way, but things weren’t looking good. The Bucs hold +450 odds to win the NFC this season, which isn’t terrible. We don’t think they’ll get back to the Super Bowl.
