Sunday Night Football features the Buffalo Bills against the Baltimore Ravens, while Monday Night Football has two games: the Tennessee Titans vs. Miami Dolphins and the Seattle Seahawks vs. Detroit Lions.
Let’s delve into the NFL Vegas odds for some of the games.
What? 2024 NFL Season Week 4
Where? USA
When? Thursday, September 26 – Monday, September 30
Dallas is currently on a two-game losing run, despite Dak Prescott leading the NFL with 851 passing yards—a figure that doesn’t quite match his 85.8 quarterback rating. Meanwhile, the Giants are coming off a strong win, where rookie Malik Nabers emerged with two touchdowns. Prescott, however, has had New York’s number, winning 12 straight starts against them. Another loss for Dallas could put serious pressure on Mike McCarthy.

Injuries have taken a toll on the Rams, but Matthew Stafford adapted well in Week 3 by leaning on Kyren Williams and mixing in some deep throws to Tutu Atwell. Though Los Angeles has only managed four sacks across three games, they should be able to dial up more pressure against Caleb Williams, who’s been sacked 13 times in the same span. Stafford also has history on his side, having won his last two starts at Soldier Field. If the Bears can establish a solid running game, they’ll have a shot, but this matchup feels like a toss-up. I will go for a narrow Bears win.

This game is a rematch of last season’s NFC wild-card round, where Tampa Bay dominated with a 32-9 victory, fueled by Baker Mayfield’s 337-yard, three-touchdown performance. So why are the Eagles favored this time? Saquon Barkley’s 5.6 yards per carry has brought much-needed balance to Philadelphia’s offense, complementing Jalen Hurts. On defense, linebacker Zach Baun, who ranks second in the NFL with 37 tackles, has anchored a unit allowing just 204.3 yards per game. Tampa Bay’s poor showing in Week 3 also plays a part in the Eagles being favored.
Philadelphia Eagles -2.5Philadelphia Eagles at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Jaguars aim to shake up the AFC South race as they face the Texans, who were handed a Week 3 reality check. Without Joe Mixon (ankle), Houston’s run game faltered, putting extra pressure on C.J. Stroud, who struggled as a result. While the Texans split last season’s series with Jacksonville, Stroud shined in those games, averaging 292 passing yards with four touchdowns and no interceptions. The Jaguars should keep things close despite coming off a short week, but expect Houston to bounce back at home.
Houston Texans -4.5Jacksonville Jaguars at Houston Texans
This game features a large spread, but it’s important not to place too much weight on either team’s most recent outing. The 49ers saw a late lead slip away and are in need of a boost from injured playmakers like Deebo Samuel and George Kittle. Interestingly, underdogs have won outright in both NFL games this season with spreads of nine points or more, including New England in Week 1. Despite that trend, look for the 49ers to separate in the second half, relying on Brock Purdy, who’s averaging 280.7 passing yards per game, to take advantage of a rotating supporting cast.

The Titans are currently in damage-control mode, struggling with a -7 turnover ratio that has contributed to an average of just 16 points per game. In his first start for Miami in Week 3, Skyler Thompson managed only 5.6 yards per attempt, but if his rib injury has healed, he will need to step up his game against Tennessee’s stout run defense. This matchup is essentially a toss-up, but we lean toward the home team. While Miami may have its limitations, they have been effective at protecting the football.
Miami Dolphins -1.0Tennessee Titans at Miami Dolphins
