Center Domantas Sabonis left that game with a hamstring iinjury. He’s been ruled out for this game. Sabonis is recording a season-long double-double with 19.5 points and 14.1 rebounds. He’s also dishing out 6.2 assists per night.

Small forward Zach LaVine is spearheading the Kings offense, scoring 23.7 points per game. Power forward DeMar DeRozan is scoring 22 points per game. Shooting guard Malik Monk (17.7) and power forward Keegan Murray (12.3) are also hitting for double digits in scoring. Murray is also pulling down 6.9 boards per night.
The Mavericks might not be feeling badly for the Kings and their Sabonis situation. Entering this game, Dallas will be without center/forward Anthony Davis (strained left adductor), center Daniel Gafford (sprained right MCL), and center Dereck Liveley II (stress fracture in right ankle).

Point guard Kyrie Irving is pacing the Dallas attack. He scoring 25 points per game, along with 4.7 assists and 4.9 rebounds. Small forward Klay Thompson is scoring 14 points per game. Small forward Naji Marshall (11) and point guard Spencer Dinwiddie (10.1) are also scoring on average in double digits.
The Kings can offset the absence of Sabonis with trade-deadline acquisition Jonas Valanciunis. He came off the bench against Houston and put up 15 points and 14 rebounds in 30 minutes. Sacramento is 2-0 on a current four-game road trip.
Meanwhile, Dallas was beaten 132-117 at home by the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday. The Mavericks have lost three of their last four games. Sacramento’s depth will overcome the absence of Sabonis, but Dallas won’t be able to survive the club’s front-court absences.
