Dallas Mavericks (-3) | -110 | -105 | -110 |
Timberwolves vs Mavericks Bets look at a close series heading into Game 4 on Tuesday night. Yes, most anyone did not expect these two teams to be here come the Western Conference Final. Everyone knows how Minnesota slowed down and beat Denver. That comeback in Game 7 down by basically 20 points will be their crowning achievement this season.
Why do we say that? Simply, Dallas has gone 3-0 ATS in this series. Also, the Mavericks are up three games to zero. In 154 attempts, no team has come back from such a series deficit. Four teams forced a Game 7 but ultimately lost. Every player from Minnesota keeps trying to say the right thing. However, the reality is there for all to see. Dallas plays the big points of a game better than even the Timberwolves.
Again, the fun part about NBA playoff Vegas Odds is not just that three-point spread. Can Minnesota contain both Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving when it counts? The problem is Rudy Gobert has been a defensive liability more than a DPOY (Defensive Player of the Year). Yes. Irving and Doncic make the shots or create lanes for others to be the hero. The Mavericks weather the storm just that little bit better.
Now, that Moneyline rolls in between -145 and -160 for Dallas in Game 4. Conversely, Minnesota banks in around +115 to +130 depending on the book. Series odds are not palatable unless one tosses a couple dollars on the Timberwolves. Maybe the Moneyline is not quite so bad here. There are a few other options too with the spread. For now, let us serve up Dallas to win.
As promised, there are a few ways to attack the Timberwolves vs Mavericks bets on Tuesday night. Those spreads offer some potential for movement. There expects to be the possibility of a shift to -2.5. or -3.5. Now, this depends partially where the money is going to go. A few sportsbooks tipped their hand early on Monday but so far, most have held firm with Dallas favored by three points.
Naturally, three points gets referred to as the home team cushion. This series has featured a little of everything with teams going back and forth after forging double-digit leads. Dallas was up 15 points early in the third quarter on Sunday only to see Minnesota come back quickly. The Mavericks held firm and then played the final 60-90 seconds better once again. That resulted in a nine point triumph.
It still rings a bit odd that potentially by Wednesday, the NBA Finals could be set. Maybe that does not happen. However, the possibility is there. Let us not get too far ahead of ourselves. However, Dallas did play very well in the first half at home in Game 3. The halftime spread is something to consider especially if the alternate can be moved to say 3.5 points.
For our betting purposes, the Vegas Betting pick here is to go with the game spread at 3.5 points. It offers Even odds and again should not move drastically. This is not like the Boston series where Indiana lost Tyrese Haliburton to an injury.
Pacers vs Celtics bets some game and player props on Tuesday. NBA Prop Bets go into some potential picks and choices. The goal is to again keep these simple. No five and six legged parlays are shown here. Same game parlays carry a lot more risk and volatility. Dallas created enough pace to go ahead early then turned up the defense late when it meant the most.
Despite that, they needed 33 points from both Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving. Doncic and Irving could do that again potentially. Irving’s point prop stands at only 23.5 (EVEN) and Doncic at 30.5 is -110. This is not horrible and could be something to ride once more. Dallas may not shoot 50% or better from three-point range again but field goal percentage is there and free throws. That should be enough for both to get over their prop totals.
Alright, the point is academic. Doncic finds a way and with Kyrie Irving plus improved death, Dallas has too. In some ways, this looks like the Dallas Stars team currently in the NHL Western Conference Final. There is talent and yet the depth steps up when it counts. The props seem to keep hitting too. Over 3.5 threes is EVEN here as well for the NBA All-Star.
So, is there a free throw prop in the Timberwolves vs Mavericks Bets? Sadly, that answer is a resounding no. Doncic would have been a decent play there too as he could get to the line 10-12 times again. Either way, Dallas and the race to 10 in the second quarter is only at -120 but the race to 25 in the first is EVEN. Talk about having options.
Oh, the NBA Finals schedule is here. Game 1 starts next Thursday, June 6th. All the games are in prime time with 8:00 or 8:30 pm ET starts. Good luck betting!
