The midsummer classic is here and people can’t wait for the big showdown to arrive. Every mid-July, the best baseball players in the world get together for the All-Star Game. That’s because Yankees sluggers Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton are going to be suiting up for the AL and starting. These are two of the best players in the bigs. Judge has been on fire this season and he’s 100 percent the favorite to win AL MVP this year. That’s how good Judge has been. Stanton has also been blasting homers left and right for this team.

The only bad news for the AL leading up to this one on Tuesday night is that Angels’ star Mike Trout won’t be in the lineup. Matter of fact, he won’t be playing in the game anymore at all, as Ty France has replaced him on the AL roster. Despite this loss, the AL is indeed going to suit up so much unreal talent, with Rafael Devers, Tim Anderson and others in the lineup.

Having said that, both the AL and NL should put up huge numbers in this game. The over/under has been set at eight runs, which seems incredibly low. Matter of fact, we wouldn’t be surprised if both of these teams combined to score 10 runs. Eight really just is too low, so we have no choice but to go with the over for this one. The American League likely would have had much stronger odds had Trout been given the go ahead to play, but he’s going to miss this one. Regardless of that, this should be one hell of a matchup and both the AL and NL will put on a show. Unfortunately, though, the loss of Trout and Harper is going to take away a bit of the spotlight, but fans are still going to love every minute of this.
