Hotels and casinos on the Strip have recently closed a few longstanding restaurants. A few have been operating for over a decade.
On October 30, MGM Resorts International closed Della’s Kitchen at Delano Las Vegas, a limited-hours restaurant that opened in September 2014.
On its website, Della’s Kitchen was described as a blend of “historic farmhouse meets urban kitchen.” Its menu featured breakfast and lunch items that combined classic comfort food with seasonal specialties.
Della’s closure coincided with MGM’s renovation and rebranding of Delano, which transitioned to a W Hotel that launched on the property in December.
MGM Grand has closed another establishment that had been in operation since June 2013, shutting down Avenue Café on November 17. There are plans to introduce a new concept in its place by February 2025.
In addition, the popular Ocean One Bar and Grille at Caesars Entertainment’s Planet Hollywood Las Vegas Hotel and Casino, located in the Miracle Mile Shops, also closed its doors in November.
The restaurant posted a message to its customers stating, “Thank you for allowing us to serve you for the last twenty years. With your support, we will continue serving the Las Vegas community as we search for a new location. Lease has expired.”
Ocean One was favored for its affordability on the Strip. It offers an enticing lunch menu with all items priced at just $5.99 and a happy hour special featuring three cocktails for $12.

International Smoke, a barbecue restaurant at MGM Grand Las Vegas, is co-owned by celebrated chef Michael Mina and Ayesha Curry, wife of Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry.
MGM Resorts International announced that the restaurant will close after service on January 19.
Established in 2019 following the success of the chefs’ San Francisco branch, International Smoke offered a menu that included wood-fired steaks, seafood, ribs, and vegetarian options.

In addition, Esquire magazine was designated as one of the Best New Restaurants of the Year in 2010, as noted on Serrano’s official website.
Julian Serrano Tapas offers a diverse selection of Spanish dishes. The options include paellas, ceviche, beef tenderloin, lamb chops, chicken breast, lobster, Spanish pork chorizo, and more.
The impending closure follows Serrano’s announcement in May regarding his retirement, which also included the closing of his Picasso restaurant at Bellagio Resort & Casino.
He also had to depart from Lago by Julian Serrano, another venue located at Bellagio.
