At the heart of the Las Vegas Strip stands Caesars Palace, which kicked off Super Bowl Week on Sunday with the debut of its Super Bowl Spectacular show – a stunning 65,000 square-foot projection on the side of the hotel’s Augustus Tower.
“It is going to be a celebration of the joy of football, our football fandom, all 32 teams and the battle of the two teams to the Super Bowl for the Lombardi Trophy,” added Wood.
In order to battle the vibrant lights of Las Vegas, the Super Bowl Spectacular show at Caesars Palace utilized 40 40K projectors positioned on the roof to pull off the breathtaking display.
The 3-minute Super Bowl Spectacular show will run multiple times a night during Super Bowl week, leaving visitors like Shannon Oliveira in awe. “I was surprised at first. I didn’t know it was going to happen, and the size and scale of it was really impressive,” Oliveira said.
Jessica Beckmeyer, another visitor from California, echoed the sentiment, expressing admiration for the projection’s grand scale and attention to detail.
Additionally, every night from 5:00-5:30 p.m., the Strip will undergo a full marquee takeover, showcasing the city’s unique landscape.
Teaming up with the NFL, the Sphere has also crafted its own custom Super Bowl displays, including a countdown clock to kickoff, a warm welcome to fans visiting Las Vegas for the big game, and a display featuring all 57 championship rings in celebration of Super Bowl history.
During the game itself, fans can turn to the Sphere for live, real-time updates in response to the action on the field, adding to the immersive Super Bowl experience in Las Vegas.
The stage is set for Sunday’s Super Bowl LVIII, to be hosted at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada, the home turf of the Las Vegas Raiders, situated just south of the renowned Las Vegas Strip.

Anticipation is running high as hotel rates in Las Vegas for the weekend are expected to average a staggering $573, potentially setting a new record, according to data from STR, CoStar’s hospitality analytics firm.
Previously, Miami held the record with an average daily rate (ADR) of $559 when it hosted the game in 2020, coincidentally featuring a matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers, with the Chiefs emerging victorious with a score of 31-20.
Emmy Hise, senior director of hospitality market analytics at CoStar Group, predicts that Las Vegas could outperform previous host cities in terms of demand and average daily rate, given its robust hotel room inventory located near the game venue.
With the largest room inventory in the U.S., the Las Vegas Strip alone boasts an impressive 107,223 rooms, far surpassing other submarkets such as Orlando, which has 50,121 rooms.
The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) anticipates that the Super Bowl will have a significant economic impact, projecting over $600 million in total economic activity.
This includes an estimated 350,000 hotel room nights booked, 330,000 incoming visitors during the week of the game, and the creation of 5,000 full- and part-time jobs, as highlighted by Rebecca Lane, public relations manager for the LVCVA.
In comparison, last year’s Super Bowl generated $1.3 billion in economic activity for the state of Arizona, as reported by an independent study conducted by Arizona State University.
