BetUS has opened a Golf futures betting market on how many major championships World No.1 Scottie Scheffler will win in 2025
Held at the beginning of April, the Masters is the first of Golf’s four majors, followed by the PGA Championship in May, the US Open in June, and the British Open in July.
Scheffler is odds on to win one major in 2025 and a massive +25000 to sweep all four.
The 2025 Golf season is now in full swing. Most of the big names were in action in the recent Genesis Open at Torrey Pines, with Ludvig Åberg of Sweden walking away with the $4 million winner’s check.
Aberg beat a high-quality field, with the world No.1 Scottie Scheffler also in contention for the title. Scheffler fell short. A final-round six-under-par left Scheffler on -9, three shots behind the winner Aberg.
It was a good warm-up for Scheffler, who was playing in his third tournament since injuring his hand on a wine glass on Christmas Day. The injury forced Scheffler to miss the Sentry in Hawaii and The American Express in Palm Springs.
Despite Scheffler’s season already behind schedule in his preparation for the major championships, BetUS has still installed the defending champion as their favorite to win the US Masters again in 2025.
BetUS not only has their 2025 Masters’ futures market live, but they also have futures markets available on how many major championships Scottie Scheffler will win this season.
Below we take a look at the latest betting.
Scottie Scheffler: 2025 Major Championship wins betting
Scottie Scheffler has two major championship wins to his name. Both were at the Masters, the first came in 2022 and the second was in 2024.
The best online golf betting sites clearly believe Scottie Scheffler will add to his collection of major championship wins in 2025. The world’s No.1 ranked player is -150 to win one major championship this year.
To win 2+ major championships, Scheffler is +600, and he is +6000 to win 3+ majors. Vegas golf odds of +25000 are available on Scheffler to complete the sweep of all four majors.
The last person to win all four majors was Bobby Jones in 1930. Jones achieved the feat in the pre-Masters era. He won the U.S. Open, U.S. Amateur, British Amateur, and British Open Championship.
Scheffler won the Masters in 2022 by three shots from Rory McIlroy, the American shot -10 on his way to his first major championship win.
In 2024, Scheffler won his second Green Jacket. The world No.1 bettered his 2022 score by one shot, finishing on -11, four clear of Ludvig Aberg in second.
Scheffler is +400 to win at Augusta for a third time in 2025. Rory McIlroy is the second favorite at +800.
Scottie Scheffler’s best result at the PGA Championship was his T2 finish in 2023.
Scheffler was beaten to the title by Brooks Koepka on the East Course at the Oak Hill Country Club. Kopeka fired -9 to claim the title, with Scheffler and Viktor Hovland joint second on -7.
Scheffler finished T8 in the 2024 edition.
He is the +450 betting favorite to win the PGA this year. Again, Rory McIlroy is his closest betting rival at +800.
The British Open is clearly Scheffler’s least favorite major championship and the event he is the least likely to win.
Scheffler’s best finish in the British Open came in 2024 when he finished T7 at Royal Troon in Scotland.
Xander Schauffele was the winner on -9, he was eight shots clear of Scheffler who finished on -1.
Scheffler finished T8 in the British Open in 2021, T21 in 2022, and T23 in 2023. His record in the most unpredictable major on the roster isn’t as bad as many would have you believe.
And guess what, Scheffler is the favorite to win in 2025. His odds of winning the British Open are longer than any of the other three majors at +550. Rory McIlroy and Xander Schauffele are the joint-second favorites at +900.
It’s almost impossible to win all four majors. Even Tiger Woods couldn’t manage it in his pomp.
It will also be hard for Scheffler to win a third Green Jacket at Augusta, as we know his preparations are already behind schedule following his injury.
It would be no surprise to see Scheffler win one major somewhere in 2025. Predicting which one, is the problem.
At -150 he is worth backing. But another futures wager that caught my eye and could be a safer bet is -150 on Scheffler to make the cut at all four major championships.
