League of Legends Champions Korea, commonly referred to as the LCK, is returning for the Summer Split after concluding the Spring Split earlier this year. The LCK Summer 2024 season is set to kick off on June 12 and will run until September 8, spanning 12 weeks of intense LoL competition.
Renowned for cultivating world-class talent, such as T1’s Lee ‘Faker’ Sang-hyeok, the LCK remains a dominant force in the global League of Legends arena. This supremacy was showcased at the recent Mid-Season Invitational in May, where Gen.G Esports emerged victorious, earning Korea an extra seed in the forthcoming LoL Worlds 2024.
As reigning world champions, T1 is eager to defend their title, but they will face stiff competition from nine other teams vying for the top position. Gen.G are unsurprisingly the betting favorites at odds of +100.
