The 2024 MotoGP France Bets allow us to look at the first four races. While Le Mans is kind of a speed laden course (a mere 11 turns), the previous four courses have featured notable differences. Mind you, Francesco Bagnia won the first two races. One would expect him to lead the point standings. However, with Jorge Martin being so good in the sprints and consistent mostly, the Spaniard has a 17-point bulge.
Alas, this FIM course features a 4.185 kilometer layout. There are so many straightaways err straights. This is unlike the other tracks. With a 27-lap main, there may be a few more opportunities to pass and hopefully fewer DNF’s. It feels like the first four races have been littered with mistakes and collisions. Every major contender has at least one race that was not incident free.
The good news for fans and bettors is Le Mans should see warmer weather. Temperatures around 75-80 degrees should be prevalent for the race. Even better news is any rain is expected to hold off. If the race had been held the following week, look out! Also, there will be no swirling winds or unexpected changes in humidity/rain.
So, three Italians have won the race in the past four years riding a Ducati. Bastianini (Bagnaia’s teammate) won in 2022 with Marco Bezzecchi triumphed last year. Can the Spaniards or someone else take home the checkered flag at Le Mans?
Alright, Enea Bastianini lengthened in an odds shift. This Italian gains some attraction considering he was hurt last year but looked great in testing. In 2022, he aced the field and won with ease. Vegas Sports Betting likes that he has been more consistent in sprints and races. The 2024 MotoGP France Bets get attached to that +1400 number on Bovada. How long that will number last remains a mystery?
Sprints are beneficial to a rider like Bastianini because of his racing style. Le Mans (Bugatti Circuit) feels like an ideal place for the Italian to flex his racing muscle. Testing showed the Italian to have one of the fastest times ever and the quickest post-COVID. It is not a secret he loves the track.
Could Bastianini even contend or win a sprint? That is also possible. Unfortunately, odds can be sketchy when it comes to the shorter Saturday jaunt. However, keep an eye out anyway, Bovada was mulling posting odds on the Saturday Sprint. The Italian might be a decent alternative compared to the likes of Jorge Martin.
Finally, that +1400 is hard to ignore. However, below we take more longer shots as contenders to winning on the famed Le Mans.
2024 MotoGP France Bets and the Killer B’s. With France nearing rapidly (practice is bright and sharp early Friday), one must look at Marco Bezzecchi and Brad Binder. While Bezzecchi won last year and enjoys speed racing, pundits are not giving him much of a shot at repeating. At +2000, that is understandable.
The best choice among the middle tier is Brad Binder and our pick for the week. Binder can race in warm, speedy conditions. Look at how fast Qatar was. Binder accumulated 29 points and was a real threat to Bagnaia and Martin. Again, some are way too rooted in Pedro Acosta. Going a little longer at +1600 does not hurt. Binder and his KTM bike can more than holds its own on this track.
Honestly, the Spanish armada does not offer much this week. Again, Binder expects to be capable of putting bettors in a bind. The fun part is the South African is only 33 points off from Martin and 16 from Bagnaia. He is still more than within striking distance of keeping things interesting.
Picking the Binder this Sunday is a wise move for Le Mans. For other potential bets, check out the BetOnline Sportsbook Review. Look for the usual shifts after the Sprint race too. BetOnline’s season head-to-head bets are coming soon too. Often, a bettors can pick up value unexpectedly as they only appear a few times a season.
Finally, if a rider does not do so well but has better long-run speed, keep them in mind. As always, we will be on social media bright and early over the weekend. Sports never takes a day off no matter the time zone. Good luck!
