Last Sunday, the Atlanta FaZe were the first team to go 2-0 in the Call of Duty League’s Stage 3 Major qualifiers. Atlanta triumphed over OpTic Texas with a convincing 3-1 victory. Meanwhile, the day’s remaining matches were intense, with both extending to the full five maps. The Seattle Surge narrowly edged out the Carolina Royal Ravens 3-2, while the Los Angeles Thieves mirrored this success with a hard-fought win against Las Vegas Legion, also ending in a 3-2 scoreline.
This weekend there are nine more enticing matchups.

Before the Stage 3 Major, slated for May 16-19 in Toronto, all 12 CDL teams are set to compete in seven qualifying matches each. These matches are crucial for determining seeding in the upcoming double-elimination tournament, where every team will advance.
Victory in each qualifier earns a team 10 points. While the prize pool for the tournament, comprising both monetary rewards and CDL points, remains undisclosed.
In previous Majors, the Toronto Ultra clinched the Stage 1 Major title back in January, while the Atlanta FaZe emerged victorious in the Stage 2 Major.
Atlanta FaZe
During Sunday’s matchup, OpTic Texas initially seized the lead by claiming the opening map with a 250-207 victory on 6 Star Hardpoint. However, Atlanta FaZe swiftly retaliated, securing a 6-4 win on Highrise Search Destroy. They then surged ahead with a narrow 3-2 triumph on Highrise Control before sealing the deal with a hard-fought 250-241 victory on Rio Hardpoint, completing a remarkable comeback.
As Major III approaches, Atlanta FaZe emerges as an incredibly formidable force. Their recent victory at Major II, marking their first trophy lift in over 400 days, infused the team with confidence and positivity. Currently dominating the standings with a considerable lead, Atlanta FaZe commands pole position in the Call of Duty League. With key players firmly established, all attention now turns to the highly anticipated Major III tournament set to unfold in Toronto.
But first, on Sunday, FaZe take on Toronto Ultra and are odds of -165.
Last time out, Seattle Surge kicked off the series with a strong showing, claiming a 250-211 win on 6 Star Hardpoint followed by a 6-4 victory on Invasion Search Destroy. However, the Carolina Royal Ravens swiftly regained momentum, delivering a shutout 3-0 win over Seattle on Karachi Control and securing a hard-fought 250-229 victory on Sub Base Hardpoint. The series reached its climax on the 6 Star Search Destroy map, with the Seattle Surge emerging victorious with a decisive 6-3 scoreline.
Surge are massive underdogs against their next two opponents. They are expected to struggle in both matches.
The Los Angeles Thieves dominated the series over Las Vegas Legion by securing a commanding 250-49 victory on 6 Star Hardpoint and followed it up with a solid 6-3 win on Rio Search Destroy. However, the Vegas Legion mounted a comeback, claiming a narrow 3-2 victory on Invasion Control and a nail-biting 250-247 win on Vista Hardpoint. Nonetheless, Los Angeles sealed the deal with a convincing 6-2 triumph on the final map, 6 Star Search Destroy, securing the overall victory.
Next, Thieves take on Miami Heretics and are -210 favorites. The price is a little short so I prefer the correct score bet.
