We are only four months away from the regular season getting here and fans can’t wait for Week 1 to arrive. There are some incredible matchups on the way, with squads in the AFC and NFC ready to make a splash from start to finish. As you know, plenty of eyes will be on Kansas City, as they’re the reigning champions. As things stand, the Chiefs are favored to win the Super Bowl following the 2023 NFL Draft.
This isn’t a surprise at all, as Kansas City is hoping to go back-to-back this campaign. Patrick Mahomes is the reigning MVP and he’s without question the best player in the game. Not only that, but Pro Football Focus has named him the No. 1 quarterback in the game as well. With other weapons including Travis Kelce and others, this offense is once again going to be electric.
The Chiefs aren’t the only team with strong Super Bowl odds, as plenty of people are going to have their eyes on the Buffalo Bills, Philadelphia Eagles, Baltimore Ravens and more this season. The Bills are led by Josh Allen, while the Eagles and Ravens feature Jalen Hurts and Lamar Jackson, respectively, at quarterback. Will anyone be able to take down Kansas City?
According to the best-rated sportsbooks, which includes the reliable Bovada review, the Chiefs hold +600 NFL betting odds to win the Super Bowl this season. Whenever Mahomes takes the field, this team is a threat to put on a show. The defense is also looking strong, which has people excited. However, with all of that said, we’re going in a different direction for our Super Bowl winners.
The Bills are our pick to win the Super Bowl this campaign
Believe it or not, the Bills are our pick to win the Super Bowl this campaign. Why? We think this is the year that Allen is able to get the monkey off his back. Over the past three seasons, this team has been quite close to reaching the big game, but they’ve fallen short. Twice, the Chiefs have lost to the Kansas City Chiefs in the postseason, while they dropped the ball last year vs. the Cincinnati Bengals.
Cincinnati is going to make a lot of noise this year too, but we think that Buffalo will be able to overcome adversity on both sides of the ball to take them down, along with the Chiefs and Ravens. A lot has happened this offseason for the Bills, but more could be on the way. Per multiple reports, the Bills are considered the favorites to land former All-Pro wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins.
Could you imagine if the Bills are able to sign D-Hop? In a bit of a surprise late last month, the Cardinals decided to release the veteran playmaker. Hopkins is now free to sign with anyone he wants – and he’s been mentioned several times as a possible addition to the Buffalo offense. The thought of him catching balls from Allen alongside Stefon Diggs should terrify the rest of the league.
Per the oddsmakers, the Bills hold +900 Super Bowl odds for this season. This is third among all the squads in the league. Allen knows there’s a ton of pressure on him and plenty of his haters have been out in full force saying that he doesn’t have a chance to get things done this winter. While it will be tough, we do think Allen and Co. will take home the Lombardi Trophy this February.
The Eagles are ready to make a ton of noise as well
While we think the Bills will win it all, don’t forget that the Eagles are ready to make a ton of noise as well. The Eagles have had a tremendous offseason, which included a brilliant NFL Draft. In the first round alone, Philly was able to improve its defensive line by adding Nolan Smith and Jalen Carter. These two are considered among the best rookie lineman in the game.
The Eagles won the NFC last year, cruising in the postseason. They were even up 10 points against the Chiefs in the Super Bowl, but Mahomes was able to lead the team to a brilliant second-half comeback. Now, Philly is ready to not only get back to the Super Bowl this year, but they want to make sure they win it as well. Hurts just landed his mega-deal and he’ll want to back up his massive pay raise with strong play.
From our chair, we think there’s a good chance that the Eagles will be able to win the NFC and make the Super Bowl. This would set up an unreal showdown between Philly and the Bills, who we think will win the AFC. That could prove to be an incredible showdown, which would be a high-scoring affair. In the end, though, we’re sticking to our guns in thinking Buffalo will win it all. However, don’t be surprised to see the Eagles make a giant splash as well.
