Rams are favored to take down the Broncos on Christmas Day
Heading into this matchup, the Rams are favored to take down the Broncos on Christmas Day when they go to battle. It has been such a disappointing year for both of these teams, as they entered the campaign with decent Super Bowl odds. Don’t forget that the Rams won it all last year, but their hangover from last season has been a nightmare.
Injuries have been rough for the Rams and head coach Sean McVay. The major one has been the one of Matthew Stafford, who is out for the year. With the star quarterback out of action, there’s been a game of musical chairs at the QB spot. Now, though, Baker Mayfield has made his way to the City of Angels and he’s the No. 1 signal-caller for the rest of the campaign.
As for the Broncos, this team has not looked good at all, and a lot of blame belongs on quarterback Russell Wilson. Wilson signed one of the biggest contracts in NFL history and he hasn’t even come close to reaching expectations. Wilson suffered a concussion last week vs. the Chiefs, and now his status is totally up in the air for the upcoming showdown with the Rams.
According to the best-rated sportsbooks, which includes the reliable Bovada review, the Rams hold -120 odds to beat the Broncos. Meanwhile for Denver, they’ve been set at +145 NFL betting odds. This could end up being a close game, but the Rams will of course enjoy the home-field advantage. Denver has just been too inconsistent this year. We’re going with the Rams as our pick.
The Eagles vs. Cowboys is the Game of the Week
It goes without saying, but theEagles vs. Cowboys is the Game of the Week. These teams do not like one another, as the NFC East rivals have long had a strong hatred for each side. This is a classic rivalry and the fanbases for both teams will be taking countless shots at one another leading up to the action. With this game being in Dallas, it should be a memorable one.
With Philly, they have their eyes set on the No. 1 seed in the NFC. They have a great chance of getting that done; they’ve been fantastic this year. The Eagles have been nearly perfect, and Jalen Hurts has played a monster role. Hurts can make you look foolish with his strong right arm and legs. Don’t forget about Miles Sanders, A.J. Brown, Devonta Smith, and others for the Eagles.
On the other side, the Cowboys are also looking tough, and they’ll be headed to the playoffs (most likely) with one of the NFC Wild Card spots. A healthy Dak Prescott makes this team better, but the emergence of running back Tony Pollard has also been great to see. CeeDee Lamb is also a threat to score whenever the ball is in his hands.
Per the oddsmakers, things are close here, with the Cowboys favored with their -110 odds. The Eagles aren’t too far behind, though, as they’re at +105. Dallas is the favorite for this one because this game is being played on the Cowboys’ home turf. We don’t care about that, though, as we’ll have to go with the Eagles as our pick.
Packers will look to stun the Dolphins in Miami
Lastly, the Packers will look to stun the Dolphins in Miami when they face off on Christmas Day. This game will feature so many offensive weapons, so we 100 percent expect many points to be scored. The Packers have looked rough at times throughout the season, and Miami is, unfortunately in a bit of a rough patch right now. Still, this will be a game to watch.
For the Packers, all eyes will be on quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers has been up and down this fall, but he still has a cannon for an arm, and he looked great against the Bears in Week 13. He’ll be relying on Aaron Jones, Christian Watson, Randall Cobb, and others to step up for him to make big plays.
With the Dolphins, Tua Tagovailoa will need to have a great game. Luckily for Tua, he has Jaylen Waddle and Tyreek Hill catching balls from him – these two form one of the best WR duos out there. Miami holds – 130 odds, and the Packers are at +155. We feel an upset is coming. We’re going with Green Bay.
