Get ready, folks, as there are some major games this weekend for the National Football League. There are several conference battles that fans can’t wait to watch. In this article, we have NFL picks for Week 5 of the 2022 season. This includes the Green Bay Packers showdown and NY Giants in London. Which team will come out on top?
Leading up to this one, the Packers are monster favorites over the Giants in Week 5. Both squads are 3-1 on the season, which only makes this upcoming game more interesting for fans to talk about. Of course for the Packers, things begin and end with quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers may be getting older, but he’s still an absolute stud.
In Week 4, the Packers hosted the New England Patriots and while things were closer than fans expected, Green Bay was able to sneak away with a close win. Rodgers put on a show, making plays with his strong right arm like usual. On top of that, running back Aaron Jones also had a strong showing. More of the same should be recorded in London.

As for the Giants, the team bounced back from its Week 3 Monday Night Football loss against the Dallas Cowboys. This past weekend, the G-Men beat the Chicago Bears at MetLife Stadium. Daniel Jones posted two rushing touchdowns, while linebacker Tae Crowder led the way for the defense, posting 11 tackles and a sack for Wink Martindale.

Normally the Dolphins would be big-time favorites going up against the Jets, but with Tua out, that means that Teddy Bridgewater will be running the offense for Miami. The fact of the matter is that Bridgewater isn’t at the same level as Tagovailoa, but he’s still a veteran quarterback with plenty of experience in the NFL. Will he be able to help Miami get a victory?
For the Jets, second-year quarterback Zach Wilson is back from his injury, and he helped the Jets beat the Steelers on the road in Week 4. Now, Wilson will hope to do more of the same against Miami. Wilson will need some of his young playmakers to deliver for him. Luckily, Wilson has a wide receiver, Garrett Wilson, out on the field for him. Wilson will need to have a big game in this one.
Per the oddsmakers, the Jets hold +146 odds to beat the Dolphins, with Miami at -174. Miami isn’t as huge of a favorite as people might have expected, but they still should come out on top. We think that will be the case here, as Bridgewater will do more than enough to help Miami improve to 4-1 on the year. We’re going with the Dolphins as our pick.
Lastly, Los Angeles will have no issues facing the Cowboys. The Rams may not be off to the start people thought they would, as their Super Bowl odds have been dropping with each game. Nevertheless, they have a great chance to turn many heads in primetime against Dallas. It’s completely up in the air if Dak Prescott will be able to play in this one.
Despite that, Cooper Rush has been fantastic for Dallas, leading the team to a 3-0 record as the starter. Matthew Stafford is still a great quarterback and he’s no question tired of the team having struggles on offense. Cooper Kupp is still one of the best wideouts in the game and he’ll be ready to put on a show against the tough Dallas defense.
Whenever the Rams and Cowboys faceoff, there’s always some form of drama. These two teams don’t like one another and while this isn’t a big-time rivalry in the NFL, there’s still plenty of hatred from both sides. This should be another good game, but in the end, we think the Rams will be the ones to celebrate a victory.
