For Alabama, they’re opening the season and going up against Utah State. This one could get ugly early on.
Alabama is listed as 39.5-point favorites, which is wild to even think about. It’s going to take more than a miracle for Utah State to keep things close in this one. Look for Young to explode offensively in this one and throw for 3-4 touchdowns. On top of that, look for his playmakers around him to record some impressive statistics. It will be great to see Nick Saban and his coaching staff in Tuscaloosa.
Elsewhere for Week 1 battles, people can’t wait for Michigan and Washington to face off. The Wolverines need to make a statement in Ann Arbor against the visitors from Seattle. Coach Jim Harbaugh wants to record a splash in the opening game of the year, and there will be no better way to do that than to record a convincing showing against the Huskies. Michigan should come out on top, but you never know what might happen there.
