If you’ve followed the Floyd Mayweather-Conor McGregor world tour, you’ve probably heard Mayweather repeatedly tell McGregor he’s a “three million dollar fighter” over and over again. However, that may be more fiction than fact.
Forbes estimates McGregor earned close to $27 million in 2016 alone from two fights against Nate Diaz and Eddie Alvarez — putting him more in “thirteen million dollar fighter” category. After endorsements, Forbes pegged McGregor’s yearly income at $37 million, which ranks 24th best among all athletes for the year.
Not bad for a guy who still collected welfare from Ireland about four years ago, huh?
Those welfare checks stopped coming as soon as McGregor made his UFC debut in 2013 and since then, there’s no denying the Irishman has been the UFC’s cash cow. McGregor has headlined four of the promotions top-5 selling pay per views of all time. His upcoming bout with Mayweather will likely break five million pay per view buys (which would be another combat sports record). McGregor stands to pocket in the range of $100 million from the fight.
McGregor’s meteoric rise is a true rags-to-riches story, and he has really embraced the latter. He’s not afraid in the slightest to flaunt his hard-earned items. Here are our favorite McGregor possessions ever:
McGregor hails from Dublin, Ireland — specifically the suburb of Cremlin, which has a reputation for being crime-ridden. He’s come a long way from those humble roots.
He now lives in Las Vegas inside a six-room home inside a gated community. Panoramic views of Sin City accompany the house, offering a “king’s view” for McGregor. Amenities inside the mansion include a 50-foot infinity pool, a 10-person luxury spa, custom-made Italian furniture, and more.
The Las Vegas estate is just one of many home splurges for McGregor. He recently completed a renovation to his mother’s home in Ireland, even adding custom drawers with his “Notorious” nickname etched on the sides. McGregor has his own home west of Dublin in the “K Club” too.
The thing about having insane amounts of money like McGregor and other prize fighters is they switch cars on a whim. Swapping a vehicle model that’s two or three years old for the brand-spanking new is commonplace. That’s why it’s hard to track exactly what McGregor has in his garage at the moment.
However, we believe the collection currently consists of a Bentley Continental, Lamborghini Aventador, BMW i8, Cadillac Escalade, Rolls-Royce Ghost, Chevy Corvette, and McLaren 12c.

During the recent press stop in Brooklyn for McGregor’s fast-approaching tilt with Mayweather, the Irishman ditched his usual three-piece suit attire for something a little more flashy: a mink coat. The piece was custom made by Gucci and featured the Italian brand’s signature snake embroidered on the back.
It’s not the first time McGregor has donned fur, though. He also busted out a Gucci-made mink coat before his fight with Alvarez, who claimed the price tag was still on it.
McGregor’s response was classic Connor: “I bought it all cash. All cash.”
McGregor’s suit game is second to none. It’s probably no surprise McGregor’s pieces are all custom designed by David August Heil under his eponymous label. Heil’s client list is a who’s-who of celebrities that also includes Kobe Bryant, Sylvester Stallone, DJ Khaled, and more.
Over the years Heil has outfitted McGregor some of the boldest three-piece attires. McGregor seems to be a big fan of plaid and pinstripes. The best design yet was debuted at the opening press stop in Los Angeles. McGregor wore a navy suit with a pink tie and lapel pin. But the devil was in the details as the suit was pinstripped with the phrase “F*^# YOU” — caps locked probably not coincidental.
We know McGregor is one not to mince words, but putting it on his custom-made suit is another level of savage.
