Charles Leclerc of Ferrari has already increased his career victory total in the first three races of the 2022 Formula One season, winning the season-opening Bahrain Grand Prix at Bahrain International Circuit and then dominating the Australian Grand Prix at Albert Park Circuit on Sunday.
In the race between, the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix at Jeddah Corniche Circuit, he finished second behind defending world champion Max Verstappen of Red Bull.

Max Verstappen won the Spanish Grand Prix on Sunday, claiming his fourth win of the season and taking over the championship lead.
Verstappen was disappointed with his car’s performance for much of the first half of the race. Over the radio, he was heard criticizing the failure of his drag-reduction equipment before eventually settling down and moving to the front of the pack.
Verstappen, the defending Formula One champion, appears to be on his way to a second consecutive drivers’ title. He’s won the last three races, climbing out of a hole he dug for himself after finishing 19th in Bahrain and retiring in Australia.
Sergio Perez
Sergio Perez’s F1 career has been founded on opposing viewpoints on Grand Prix racing. On the one hand, he’s a hard-hitting fighter who works his way through the pack and into the points. Even his teammates aren’t immune to the Mexican’s passion, as he isn’t hesitant to add a little spice to his on-track confrontations.
Guadalajara’s gunslinger has more points than any other Mexican in Formula One history. He also equaled idol and countrymen Pedro Rodriguez by capturing the chequered flag first in Sakhir 2020, securing a berth with title contenders Red Bull.
He gave great support to Max Verstappen’s championship-winning effort in 2021, while also adding to his personal score. More victories are unlikely, especially with Verstappen as a teammate, but Perez is committed to working hard and racing with his heart.
Carlos Sainz
Sainz soon demonstrated his fighting spirit after visiting F1’s Bull Ring in 2015 with Toro Rosso’s Max Verstappen. He’s a tenacious racer who pushes the car to its limits as he works his way through the pack.

Russell’s incredible baseline speed helped him well as he racked up championships on his path to Formula 1. Under extreme pressure, the Briton blasted to the 2017 GP3 title and delivered the 2018 Formula 2 title.
Mercedes swooped in to sign Russell to their junior program in 2017, despite the fact that Russell already had a DTM agreement on the table. Before landing his Mercedes-powered Williams race driving, he gained more experience with practice sessions with Force India and tests for the Silver Arrows.
