He has a season ERA of 4.48 despite his recent success.
Texas will need to make a ton of changes, possibly to the coaching staff, in the off-season if they want to compete next year in the AL West. The Rangers have 78 losses this season, one more than the Rockies, which makes them the worst team in the Majors heading into play on Saturday. Their pitching staff has been in shambles all season and it does not show any signs of improving anytime soon.
